Title: Linux Admin
Position: 10 month contract
Location: Irvine, CA
Status: GC or USC Preferred (H1bs are going to work though )
Interview Mode: Face to Face
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Linux Administrator who has experience with storage backup.
In this role you will be responsible for 50% operations and 50% project based. Your daily tasks will include builds and configurations and storage administration.
You will be making sure that the servers and applications on the server are preforming correctly. We need someone who can hit the ground running and ensure that deadlines for releases are being hit.
Skills required:
1- 4+ years of experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
2- Enterprise storage backup (NetApp or EMC)
3- Experience building and configuring enterprise level servers (preferably IBM or HP)
4- Experience in an enterprise level environment
5- Experience configuring and administering Linux Redhat servers (5.0+)
6- Experience with virtualized servers (VMware)
Desired:
1- Strong communication
2- Experience configuring Apache servers
3- VM certification
