JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duration           :  6+ Months

Location           :  Des Moines, Iowa

Rate                  :  $45/hr C2C MAX

 

DESCRIPTION: Duties/project:  The data warehouse team receives a large amount of requests each month to load data from Excel spreadsheets to the data warehouse.  We have designed a solution that will allow business partners to initiate loads of data on their own.  The solution entails writing SSIS packages that will read in a CSV or Excel file that has been saved to a directory, validates the data using stored procedure calls, and reports back the result to the business user using SSSRS.  We would like assistance in setting up these processes for several of our manual loads.  The contractor would also be assigned some filler work to convert DTS packages to SSIS.

3-5 years experience

• The breakdown of work for the primary task would be development.  However for the filler work of converting DTS to SSIS, there would be some analysis and design. 
• 30% analysis, 10% design and 60% development. 
• Requirements Technical experience with Microsoft SSIS, DTS, SSRS, SQL Server and a strong SQL background is required.
