We are looking for a Performance Engineer / Tester to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.
This is 6 Months Contract based in Irving, LA.
Job Title: Performance Engineer / Tester
Location: Irving, LA
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Extension Possible)
Experience: 6+ yrs
Job Description:
1. More than 6 years of Performance Engineering and Testing experience
2. Experience in bottle-neck analysis and performance tuning at architecture as well as database level
3. Experience in providing recommendations at configuration, database and code level
4. Experience in architecture and design assessment from performance perspective
5. Experience in identifying and deploying /recommending appropriate monitoring tools for each layer, creating dashboards with metrics for monitoring and reporting
6. Experience in code profiling and optimization
7. Experience in Non-functional requirement modeling, test strategy, scripting, execution, monitoring, triaging, reporting
8. Experience in capacity planning
9. Experience in setting up PE processes
10. Exposure to Predictive Performance modelling using analytical and simulation methods - Analytical and Discrete Event Simulation models for predicting various performance measures like throughput, response time, resource utilization and capacity limits
