Job Title : Test Lead/QA Lead

Location : San Francisco, CA

Duration : 3+ Months Contract

Job Description :

 

Must have Release Management experience. 

Primary Activities

•             Work with project test leads to assist with planning E2E Business Flow Testing

•             Conduct cross-project impact assessment to identify cross-project testing risks in an integrated environment

•             Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to deal with identified cross-project risks

•             Manage and Report on Test execution – Business flow, IUAT, Prod Validation

•             Compile Release Testing metrics across supported projects for executive reporting

•             Attend project team test status meeting and provide guidance for defect triage, support

•             Review and approve E2E Test environment code migrations, infrastructure changes, and test environment outages

 

Required Skills / Experience (all not required, but some are better):

•             Experience working as a Test Lead / Manager on large, multi-track projects or overseeing multiple simultaneous projects

•             Release Management experience

•             Experience managing or organizing software builds / code deployments

•             Retail Domain experience is good, fashion experience is great

•             Familiar with key concepts of Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC) in both a waterfall and scrum/agile environment

•             Technical experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Retail, or custom Java / Javascript development favored

•             Experience working with Git/SVN for source repository, build/configuration tools Jenkins / Electric Commander, Ant, Chef, Serena Dimensions and/or Maven is a

 

Plus:

•             Familiar with testing tools Jira, Selenium, and/or Cucumber preferred

•             Local to SF Bay Area or ability to work without travel expenses required
