Need SQL DBA
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Duration: 6 months +
Interview Process: Telephonic followed by face to face
Skills:
- Experience on migrating from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2008 on a clustered environment
- Familiar with patch installation of Support for Data Transformation Services Packages (Management >> Legacy)
- At least 4 years SQL DBA experience
- Sound knowledge of all core aspects of a DBA's job
- Adaptability
- Leverage all the DBA tools and DBA developed procedures to monitor, tune and optimize database and application performance
- Database troubleshooting
- Performance tuning and monitoring
- Backup and recovery
- Ability to deal with log, connectivity and security issues
- Experience with tables, functions, views, indexes, database schema, configuration, etc.
- Database development experience is preferred
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS, DTS
- Experience upgrading Operating Systems
- Familiar with WinSCP
- Familiar with Informatica
