JOB DESCRIPTION:
Duration : 6 - 9 Months contract
Location : Richardson, TX
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrable knowledge SQL Server 2008 or 2012 development features at an intermediate to advanced level
- Experience with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
- Experience creating data models and applying them at physical level
- Good understanding of SQL server internals and its relationship with the OS and hardware
- Knowledge of various optimization approaches and the trade-offs involved
- General experience in a data warehouse environment (hub & spoke model)
- Experience creating data-marts for specific querying requirements
- Familiar with various ETL tools for large data transfer across platforms
- Understanding the large data allocation and partition to maximize throughput within different storage tiers.
- Good knowledge of message queuing service and in-memory data store
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
- 8+ years related experience
