Position : Guidewire Developer
Location : Cleveland, OH
Duration : 6+ Months
In addition to the role requirements listed in the Impact master agreement for a developer as follows ini the breakdown:
The following are common responsibilities for all levels:
• Translates business and system requirements into technical requirements and design documents for the proposed solution
• Prepares estimates, creates designs, performs coding and unit testing for custom-developed applications
• Performs quality assurance functions including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and overall technical oversight
• Provides production support to existing applications as needed
• Responsible for ensuring security standards are met and business continuity activities are completed as needed
• Adheres to software development lifecycle and service management processes
• Typically has 3 to 10 years of applications development and/or production support experience
• Requires minimal supervision
• Able to work on medium to large, complex assignments
• May be required to coach and mentor others, as well as coordinate small projects or initiatives
Communication skills, problem solving, ability to learn, priority setting, time management, and planning are consistently demonstrated at a fundamental to skilled level
The following specific skills are required:
Guidewire CLaimCenter 7 (certification preferred)
Guidwire Studio
GUnit testing
Gosu
Demonstrable understanding of and ability to apply object oriented design standards using Gosu
Working experience on the CLaimCenter Integration layer
XML modeling
CLaimCenter GX model
Experience with implementing web service integrations over an ESB into ClaimCenter
IBM Websphere 8.0
