Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Job Responsibilities:
Business Need
Completing the on domain migration is a critical business need for ITS. Support for Windows XP ends in April 2014. Today we still have 20K systems that need to be identified and migrated to Windows 7 and the TEN Domain. Without a resource to assist in creating reports and helping analyze data issues we will be unable to complete the migration tasks.
Role Definition
1. Data Analysis :
Interact with different Business stakeholders and understand individual issues.
Analyze issues in the database.
Find out the problem and fixing issues in the database.
Compare data with reports and fix where it is wrong.
Recommend design changes whenever required.
Explain the data issues in easier non-technical terms to make it simpler for LSA’s and Business Users.
2. Data Cleansing :
Modify data in various tables as per issue raised by business users.
Modify sq. script, views for various reports to rectify wrong reports.
Compare various reports and data within database to make the report perfect for the business users.
3. Database Object design :
Create new procedures for automated jobs.
Create new view for new reports.
Support in database design and schema.
Design new table for business requirement.
To maintain data consistency will implement various constraints.
Create new jobs and schedule them as per requirements.
4. Gathering Requirements.
Meet with different Stakeholders and Business Users in this case Project Managers.
Understand user requirement, putting in documentation and send it to User for Confirmation.
Create documentation for report and their use for One Domain DB team.
