Title: Senior Enterprise One/JDE World Programmer.

 

Job Description:

 

Role Synopsis:

 

The Senior E1/JDE World Programmer is responsible for research and analysis, design specifications, testing, configuration and installation of software in an Enterprise One/World (JDE) environment. The primary role of the senior developer is to review, analyze, design and develop JDE programming systems. This position works closely with Business Systems and/or functional users to gather and analyze end user requirements.

 

Required Technical Skills:

 

• 5 or more years supporting an Oracle Enterprise One (JDE) environment with expertise in JDE toolset: ERW, Forms, UBEs, OMW, Business Functions (Master and NER).
• 3 or more years supporting a JDE World A7.3 environment with expertise in JDE Case tool, RPG, ILE, CLP, CLLE, SQL, SQLRPG, SQLRPGLE, AS/400, DB2/400.
• Other languages such as C+ and Visual Basic are desired.
• Business systems experience: Payroll/HR, manufacturing and distribution, and billing and job cost.
• Strong understanding of JD Edwards Business Systems including the ability to document and support. 

Preferred Technical Skills:

 

• JD Edwards World to Enterprise One migration experience desired.
• Formscape, BI Publisher, JWALK, Go-Anywhere or any ETL tool.
• Oracle 11g experience, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, Team Foundation Server (TFS). 

Additional Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience total.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive team attitude.
• Ability to lead/mentor other developers.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with virtual teams (global).
