Length: 3 months
Skills: Min 8 yrs implementing and supporting Financials System including Oracle R12 GL, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, AGIS, FSG. Preferred: Oracle Payables, Receivables, Expenses.
The project is scheduled to start April 1, 2014 and run for 3 months with potential extension.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is implementing Oracle R12 Financials & Procurement and ramping up a support organization to help the user community with the daily challenges that are arising. The IT Business Analyst will be working with users and Business Process Owners and the Implementation Project Team to understand and analyze problems that the off-shore support team is not able to resolve. Daily activities include:
Process/system analyses, defining requirements for identified gaps, work with the implementation, support and development teams to address those gaps.
Coaching and training users and/or team members where required.
Work side by side with users on business critical activities during month-end.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Arts degree (advanced degree preferred)
Background and qualifications in accounting and or computer science highly desirable
Background in Oracle Financials R12 (or comparable) highly desirable
Ability to communicate complex functional and technical ideas to end users in writing and verbally
Strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills
Strong customer service, written and oral communication/interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Proven ability delivering complex and time sensitive projects
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Strong work ethic
Background in Finance Systems implementation and support
Minimum of 8 years implementing and supporting Financials System including Oracle R12 GL, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, AGIS, FSG.
Exposure to Oracle Payables, Oracle Receivables, i-Expenses and other Financials applications a plus.
Knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle and large-scale ERP implementations.
Experience:
Oracle Financials 8 years Expert
Oracle OM 4 years Intermediate
Oracle Procurement 4 years Intermediate
