Scrum Master / BA
Westlake, OH

We are looking for a Scrum Master / BA with solid understanding of the Agile process to lead a team supporting web and/or mobile application development projects. This person will also work collaboratively with product owners, business stakeholders, developers and user experience analysts.

Required:

  1. At least three years of experience leading a software development team as a Scrum Master.
  2. Training in Agile principles, specifically the Scrum framework.
  3. Strong experience analyzing and documenting business requirements and functional specifications for corporate external and internal web sites in user stories.   
  4. Familiarity with UX Design, usability testing, wireframes and prototype development using a tool.
  5. Excellent skills required in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, backlog management and prioritization, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g., partnering, conflict management, resolving priorities between stakeholders, consulting, etc.).
  6. Self-starter that can work with diverse stakeholders and with minimal supervision.
  7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  8. On-site, in person candidate interview required before selection.

Desired:

  1. Some .NET C#, content management system, and/or mobile application development exposure is desirable.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Candidate Responsibilities:

Explain tasks the consultant will perform on a day to day basis. Give examples of what they will be doing and how they will be doing it.

  1. Will work on specific projects which could include websites and Mobile Application development initiatives.
  2. Serve as Scrum Master for development teams and remove impediments to team progress
  3. Define detailed stories with applicable acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owners and technology team. Document, groom, and help prioritize these stories.
  4. Lead focused, effective meetings with diversified groups (Sprint planning, daily standups, feedback meetings, sprint reviews and story grooming meetings)
  5. Facilitate retrospectives at key project milestones and final project completion, to confirm project acceptance and satisfaction, and to establish lessons learned
  6. Facilitate estimation meetings using relative effort estimation techniques.
  7. Gather/report all relevant Agile metrics (burndown charts, Team velocity, etc.)
  8. Participate or lead testing activities (QA and UAT).
  9. Review and approve finished development work before release into production.

Describe the maintenance, design, and technology that will be utilized for this project.
