Job Title:Senior Systems Admin-UNIX
Location: Alviso, CA
Duration: 6+Months

Face to Face interview is required.

Required Technical Skills:
• At least 10 years of UNIX systems administration
• Knowledge of Apache, Tomcat and Weblogic
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like puppet, chef
• Strong Troubleshooting skills
• LDAP, DNS, Automount, NFS, Sendmail or postfix
• Knowledge of PXE, Kickstart and Spacewalk
• Management of Linux in VMWare infrastructure
• Shell scripting
• Knowledge of Clustering (H/A) methodologies and concepts
Soft Skills:
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, customer focus and team work competencies.
• Ability to be a self-starter, and be driven to do the right things and make technical
decisions as needed and to communicate technical issues to non-technical people.
• Project and task oriented, following established processes and procedures.
Preferred Skills:
• Symantec NetBackup
• Experience with Oracle and MySQL
• Symantec Storage Foundation and Cluster Server
• Storage management and SAN Switches
• ITIL Processes
Desired competencies:
• B.S. In Computer Science or related field or equivalent field experience.
