Role: Websphere Application Server Admin
Location: Wilson, NC

Job  Type: Contractual/Temporary
Duration: 12+ months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Responsibilities:

 

1.       To handle Production environment application Changes approved by change management

2.       To troubleshoot  break/fix  tickets/incidents

3.       To attend Technical bridge calls to address Production issues and DR test planning

4.       To provide support for changes and troubleshooting issue with Non Production Environment (Test, QA .etc)

Requirements:

·         Knowledge on WAS (v6,7,8 and 8.5) – Deploying the application

·         Configuring JDBC data sources

·         Applying fixpacks

·         Troubleshooting issues with the applications & servers

·         Log Analysis

·         Basic commands in Unix/Linux

·         Flexibility to work in shifts

·         Basic knowledge in Tibco BW Engine – Application deployment

·         Hawk and admin concepts

·         Tibco EMS

·         IIS v6 and v7 – Configuring Websites

·         Troubleshooting issues with the websites

·         Tomcat Application Server
