Position: Marklogic Developer

Location: Mclean, VA

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Provide specialized expertise on implementing MarkLogic-based data management, search, and analytics solutions

·         Participate in all aspects of software life cycle using Agile software development methodologies.

·         Participate in requirements and design workshops

·         Design and develop code, scripts and data pipelines that leverage structured and unstructured data integrated

·         Develop documentation for Marklogic modules

·         Work independently or as part of team for MarkLogic centered solutions

 

 

Requirements:

 

·         Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent experience

·         5+ years experience delivering software implementation projects within a professional services organization

·         5+ years of experience working with content/knowledge management systems, search engines, relational databases, NoSQL databases, ETL tools

·         3+ years of experience in Marklogic development

·         Direct experience with commonly accepted industry architectures/technologies including J2EE, .NET, XML, XSLT, SOA/Web Services, SQL, HTML, HTTP, Javascript, REST

·         Hands-on experience with XML and related technologies

·         Thorough knowledge of one or more programming languages, Java preferred

·         Experience with XQuery a big plus

·         Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

·         Strong desire and ability to learn quickly and acquire new skills
