Job Title : Java web-based development Consultants

Skillset
5+ years in web-based development and support. Enterprise Java, REST, JSON, and API development are firm expectations with extra credit if you've also worked
extensively in Python, Ruby and/or Javascript. Also expert in Scala or Clojure? Epic.
Should have advanced knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g. Python or JavaScript)
Should have work experience in Kafka, Solr, Spark, node and Storm.
Must "get" NoSQL. Check your 3NF at the door.
Should have experience supporting applications that rely on Couchbase, Cassandra, and HBase
Resolving incident tickets in Remedy
Provide regular updates on the status of the incident in Remedy
Work on Service requests on best effort basis
Problem Management, Preventive maintenance and Abend Resolution
Monitoring daily batch jobs
Handling change requests from business users
Reporting (Weekly Reports, Audit Reports, Trend Analysis)
Assist Code Deployment and migration tasks
Work on Research requests and occasional UAT support tasks
Issue coordination amongst various teams to ensure business continuity
Make sure the SLAs are met as agreed with the customer
Follow Support guidelines/Processes defined
Support and assist any planned maintenance and housekeeping activities on the system
Routine health checks on the system status to ensure application availability
