Responsibilities:
Tomcat admin / Developer with Configuration experience.
Skills Required:
Set of guidelines for their tomcat based setup, specifically for Tomcat Servers.
Bring in Industry best practices, guide and document
Stability of tomcat 8 and support
Failover support for existing Infrastructure
Security of log files - Access of same. (What happens if log size exceeds drive size)
Check which user account runs tomcat.
Access rights to various developers and engineers. (Define roles)
Httpd .Conf settings - review
Security certificate and https support
Check heap size defined for JVM'S
