IT - Finance Project Manager

Location: New York-NY

Job Description:-

This is a fast paced environment where accuracy is critical and deadlines are tight. 

We are looking for a motivated individual who has excellent project management skills, analytical skills, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. 

Financial industry knowledge as well as knowledge of the financial services industry is a must.

Project Management activities for given project(s) include:

• Perform assessment over current data control framework for the streams subject to FBEPS requirements (i.e. the Investment Bank, Wealth Management Americas, Risk and CCAR)

• Assist in creation of a strategic front-to-back architecture to support the IHC

 

Preferred Qualifications:-

• A strong Business Analyst background preferably within Finance.

• Project Management experience is a plus.

• An understanding of the roles performed in the finance function and / or risk function.

• An understanding of Front to Back IT processes and IT infrastructure and experience with data transformations (i.e. data lineage work, data aggregation) 

• Strong understanding of both Business and Information Technology control principles.

• Ability to face off to, influence and engage stakeholders.

• A driven individual that is able to maintain focus, learn quickly and demonstrate sound motivational qualities, both individually and part of a team.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to persuade and drive change forwards 

• Extremely proficient in MS Office suite including PowerPoint.
