ETL / SSIS Developer

Job Description:
The Senior ETL / SSIS Developer MUST have prior hands-on experience delivering/leading successful Data Migration/Data Warehousing projects and experience with IT application development. Should be able to participate in all aspects of the Data Migration/ETL development lifecycle using Microsoft BI Stack/Technology, with a strong emphasis on Data Quality Services implementation and ETL development.
The individual will be working with the data architects, and the development team to deliver the artifacts and the code. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail. This person must have strong professional consulting and communication skills.
Tools and Skills sets needed:
SSIS, MS SQL Server 2008 and higher
Oracle – Definite plus
Detailed Requirement:
• More than 5 years' experience as ETL Developer using SSIS and
SQLServer 2008 - 2012 to implement data warehousing/data migration projects
• More than 2 years of experience in leading/designing Data Migration/Data Warehousing projects
• Must have strong SQL skills in SQL Server/T-SQL, stored procedures and package development.
• A strong knowledge of data quality concepts and implementation experience
• Excellent understanding and demonstration of data migration and warehousing concepts
• Expertise with fine tuning existing SQL queries/processes and performance management tools
• Oracle working knowledge is a definite plus
• SQL, Oracle 11 or 12, PL/SQL
• IT software development lifecycle knowledge is a must with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
• Oracle 12c knowledge and prior experience with Oracle SQL Loader, Oracle Data Pump, or Oracle External tables is preferred.
