Job description:
- Should have the ability to operate in both a functional and technical capacity.
- Support business users in the use of internal Applications and related SQL and/or Oracle databases and systems.
- This person will be responsible for optimizing reporting, but not operating as a full on reports developer or Applications Developer
Technical skills needed include:
- SQL
- VBA coding experience is a must
- Excel
- Access
- Responsible for putting in macros for user input,etc.
Preferred:
- Powershell Scripting and other scripting experience
- Preferred is experience with Project Professional
- Preferred is experience with TSQL
- Preferred is experience with .Net, but not required
General Summary:
- Responsible for delivery and support of third party packaged applications and related SQL databases.
- Work closely with internal customers to understand business needs and requirements, and implement appropriate information technology solutions.
- Build and maintain working relationships with other IT groups and resources to deliver seamless support to customers. Participate in larger project implementations and tracking of information via Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
- Support work to include the diagnosis and resolution of application, database and related data issues.
- Demonstrate increased technical skills and the ability to recommend and implements solutions.
- Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance, integration methodologies and project management.
