Job description:
Will help define the technical strategy and tactical plan for implementing data and information delivery solutions. The position will interact with multiple functional groups to understand business needs, architect technical options, make recommendations that return business value, and serve as the technical leader in data technologies
Experience creating defining the architecture in strategy for moving from a legacy warehouse environment to a Hortonworks Big Data architecture. Ability to evaluate legacy technology solutions to determine plans for migration. Ability to support legacy mapping/capability architecture changes as needed for interim state.

o Data architecture work, mapping of data, database design, strategic work with data governance
o Various initiatives, this is a supporting function for all the data architects, so can work on a variety of project.
o Strong data base skills – Oracle, MySql
o Strong data modeling and mapping skills, JSON, Informatica, Kafka/Nifi,
o Experience with big data concepts and implementations – specifically Hortonworks
o Fast paced, independent as well as team base work. Need ability to work on multiple projects and balance priorities.
