Job Description:
· 10-12 years of experience in IT including 4-5 years of experience on Mobile
· 2+ years of experience on Xamarin cross platform mobile application development
· Experience developing and publishing enterprise mobile applications.
· Familiar with the end to end life cycle process for mobile apps: architecture, design, development, testing and deployment.
· Hands on experience on the iOS and Android platforms.
· SOA knowledge: Should have experience in using RESTful web services to integrate mobile apps with back end corporate applications.
· Hands on knowledge of JSON, XML
· Good understanding of development, build, deployment and test environment for mobile platforms: iPhone and Android.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, such as meeting facilitation, presentation and documentation.
· Well-developed organizational and interpersonal communications skills.
· Ability to analyze tradeoffs, communicate them effectively and make firm decisions
· Strong consulting mindset. Ability to meander through vague requirements or unchartered territory to provide clarity and direction
· Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including algorithms and data structures, compilers, databases etc.
· Excellent design skills and practical understanding of design patterns and object oriented principles
· Ability to create good design documentation (using UML, ER and other diagrammatic notations)
· Knowledge of productivity tools including the optimal use of IDE's, automated unit tests and automated code analysis tools
· Knowledge of the best practices around common cross cutting concerns and ability to think out of the box in recommending solid technical solutions
Job responsibilities
· Develop project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnosing and mapping client requirements; articulating solution risks and barriers; recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; planning full project life cycle.
· Lead and facilitate information gathering sessions to validate business cases, gather and document business and functional objectives.
· Implement architecture by building components and custom designs; prototyping; maintaining technical integrity and consistency; documenting system.
· Work with offshore technical teams to ensure proper understanding of the requirements
· Manage customer relationship by communicating Mobile development standards and frameworks; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues.
· Establishing architectural and development standards around Mobility.
· Create, maintain, and implement Coding standards/Best practices that will be used by the team
· Analyze technical requirements and oversee the development of detailed technical document(s)
· Develop some of the most complex (and/or critical) pieces of code
· Interface with the Infrastructure and release management group for software deployment
