Role      

Teradata/Oracle/Unix/Java/J2EE Developer

 

Mandatory Technical Skills        

8+ years of Teradata Exp using load/Unload Utilities BTEQ, Teradata SQL Assistant, Tpump, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport knowledge, Database development, stored procedure development along with Oracle Database Development and Unix shell script development. 

OOPs Concepts & Patterns

Abstract Classes and Interfaces

File IO and Serialization

Collections - List , Map , Set etc

Exceptions - Checked , Unchecked

Java Keywords - Static, Final, volatile, synchronized, transient, this super etc.

JVM and Memory Management

Multithreading and Synchronization

Databases connections handling

 

Duties & Responsibilities             

- Interaction with business representative.

- Developer role with strong Teradata batch & databases experience with Java.

 

Desirable Functional Skills           

1. Experience with Teradata load utilities like BTEQ, Teradata SQL Assistant, Tpump, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport

2. Testable strong SQL with complex queries

3. Proficient testing skills on unit, system, and integration

4. Very good verbal and written communication skills

5. Database Development

6. Stored procedure Development

7. Unix Shell Scripting Experience

8. Java/J2EE Exposure

9.RDBMS

Total Experience Required           6-10 years
