4+ month contract position
Location: Milwaukee, WI
PROJECT
The successful candidate will work with an agile team and will be required to meet with users to capture requirements, estimate work efforts, design, build, and test the dashboards developed. They will also be required to provide user and technical support documents for the dashboards. They will work with clients, dashboard product managers, support staff members, and SAP business warehouse specialists. Transfer of knowledge to business area and IT personnel on how to create business objects reports and dashboards is also desired.
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
(These will be used to develop dynamic, engaging, and interactive Business Objects dashboards relying on the SAP data warehouse for data.)
-Business Objects reporting tools:
- Dashboard designer V4.0
- WEBI
- Analysis for Office
- Analysis edition for OLAP
- Crystal Reports
- Design Studio
- Explorer
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with clients, team members, and other technical support teams
- Demonstrate an ability to learn new things, possess strong problem analysis and reasoning abilities, and be able to work on a team or independently.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience with:
- SAP Portal Implementations
- Agile Methodologies
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
4-year college degree in an IT field
5 years of experience with and have a proven track record with specific examples of being an independent and quick learner.
Demonstrate problem solving skills and the ability to speak with clients using business terms.
Collaborate with clients and with internal IT resources to find solutions which meet the business need, and which are effective, accurate, and maintainable.
Work well independently with minimal guidance as well as in team settings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. |
