Location: Chevy Chase, MD

Duration: Long Term

Rate: $45/hr

The IBU Claims B2B team is looking for a highly motivated .Net developer with excellent technical skills to join our team. A minimum of 3 years experience developing web based applications is required. Must be a dynamic team player with excellent problem solving skills and a passion to provide the best usability experience for our business partners across all lines of business and divisions. Candidate must have demonstrated full project life cycle experience analyzing, developing , documenting and maintaining web based applications. This position also requires production on call support. Position grade will commensurate with candidate experience.

 

Required Qualifications:

- 3+ years' experience building .Net (4.0 preferred) web based applications with C#, web services, HTML and SQL

- Demonstrated ability using TFS and building and deploying web based applications

- Experience with C#, web services and XML

- Strong understanding of object oriented development, use of design patterns and system architecture

- Ability to work independently, yet function as an integral part of a team, take initiative and contribute in a fast-paced environment

- Proven ability to mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - including verbal, written, and presentation

- A proven track record of driving results and the use of metrics to provide solutions

 

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with HTML5, jQuery, Javascript, CSS
