Must-haves

- 5-8 years of experience developing Android Production Applications
- Experience implementing the Android platform into the head unit of the accessory or device (Data communication EX Phone to Tablet)
- Experience working with H-264
-Experience developing at least one or two full stack (front, middleware, and backend) Android applications from scratch in the last 3 years
- 3 years of experience with Bluetooth and USB connectivity protocols
-Experience writing and integrating RESTFUL web services
-Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Engineering

 

Plusses

-Experience with JIRA issue tracking tool
-UI design and development experience (experience with QT creating cross-platform interactive User Interfaces)
-Experience with AOA (Android Open Accessory) and IAP (Ipod Accessory Protocol) communication protocols
- Experience Loading an application onto the Google Play store.
-Experience with Miracast

 

Day-to-Day

Client is looking for an Android Developer for a large automotive company in Irvine, CA. You will be responsible for creating an Android application completely from scratch. This position reports to the Connected Car department and focuses on the Implementation of connected apps for their next generation infotainment system. You will be required to complete performance testing, monitoring, troubleshooting applications deployed, installed and actively used. You will need to have experience developing Android applications that is connected to the head unit of the car via Bluetooth and USB connectivity protocols. Lastly, you will be working with issue tracking tools to manage the issues found toward the development of the project and manage app releases and publishing on the Google play store for the smartphone ap
