Title : (JAVA) Application Programmer

Location: Boston MA

Duration : 6+ Months.

LOCALS ONLY : Should attend in-person interview

 

 

Responsible for designing, writing and maintaining web-based software applications, including developing written specifications, coding and unit testing. Skills include:

- Expert knowledge of Core Java

- Excellent knowledge of server-side web frameworks such as Spring MVC

- Excellent knowledge of Web UI technologies - HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap

- Excellent knowledge of the Oracle database - SQL, triggers, procedures

- Excellent knowledge of database-accessing technologies such as Hibernate or iBatis

- Proficient in development / debugging environments (Eclipse, FireBug)

- Knowledge of WebSockets and/or JMS would be a plus

 

 

The candidate will assist the team in developing a web-based application.

 

 

Our interviewing process is as follows: There will be an initial phone interview with the hiring manager, to be followed by an in-person interview at 1 Lincoln, Boston, MA. Prefer to have in-person interview after the initial phone interview and need this resource to sit on-site 5 days a week (this is not a work from home position).
