Job Title:- Oracle Database Developer
Location:- Rochester, NY
Duration:- 06+months
Need Local Consultants
 
Required Skills:-
• Ability to see the larger picture when evaluating design options
• Creation of readable, ever-green documentation
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Provide useful feedback in team code reviews
• Willingness to commit to 100% automated quality testing
• Understanding of and experience with Oracle:
• Tuning queries and understanding Explain Plans and Cost Based optimization
• Indexing strategies for non-transactional databases
• Experience with designing and building Warehouse and Datamart solutions
• Partitioning strategies for large tables and partition exchange
• External tables and Oracle Data Pump
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, objects, and collections
• Experienced in using database triggers and materialized views
• Experienced in using database context
• Experienced in with DBMS Scheduler
• Experienced in with scripting and SQLPlus
• Experienced in with setting up Oracle client and installing databases
• Proficient with Oracle 11g database features and PL/SQL language enhancements
• Good understanding of concurrent processing, parallel processing, and related oracle parameters
• Understanding relationship diagrams, capable to re-engineer database models from looking the existing tables and data
• Experience with Delphix or other database virtualization environments is a plus
• Experience in coming on to an existing application team is a plus
