Job Description:

 

Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop and test Business Intelligence solutions per business need using Cognos 10.2 Tools

·         Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of IBM Cognos 10 BI product line

·         Provide best practice advice and depth of knowledge on the IBM Cognos suite (best options and alternatives for designs and implementations)

·         Required Skills: The ideal individual will have 5+ years of industry experience, with focus on a Cognos 10.2 enterprise wide Business Intelligence tools  Framework Manager, Reports Studio, Workspace Advanced. DB2 Work Experience. Drive to implement new features like workspace, active reports and selfservice via Insight.

·         Analyze requirements, design solutions and deliver solutions in combination with data warehouse/ETL architects and developers.

·         Candidates are expected to have experience in the full lifecycle of implementation

·         Modeling using Cognos Framework Manager

·         Report Studio Experience

·         Workspace / Workspace advanced

·         MUST HAVE exceptional SQL capabilities with DB2.

·         Must be able to diagnose and solve the problems as well as guiding with best practices of trouble shooting methods

·         Nice to Have Skills  Cognos SPSS is a PLUS
