The manager will conduct phone/skype interviews for non-local candidates

Primary Job Duties:
- Design, develop and deliver software on cutting edge applications in Java
- Collaborate with other team members and business on design decisions and direction for application requirements
- Developer and troubleshoot distributed processing systems and optimize performance and scale of batch processes
- Facilitate and fulfill tasks as a member of an agile team, using agile practices (e.g. peer reviews and paired programming, Test Driven Development, daily stand up meetings)
- Discover new technologies and techniques and adapt to dynamic business requirements
- Mentor less senior personnel
Technical Experience Required:
- Java
- Oracle database
- Spring, Hibernate, transaction management
- JUnit
- Spring Batch experience a big plus
- Multithreading/multiprocessing experience a plus
Education and Experience Required:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty
- 5+ years of experience in Java development
- Experience with batch processing systems
