Location: Hoboken, NJ

SQL Server DBA Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, document, install, configure, support, troubleshoot SQL 2012 environments
• Plan, design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SQL Server
• Perform pro-active performance tuning and management for SQL Server environments
• Accept knowledge transfer from initial Wipro infrastructure team and accept full responsibility for SQL Server environment for the remainder of the project
• During project perform knowledge transfer to MMC HRIS Infrastructure Team
• Work with MGTI during the remainder of the project on server provisioning, submission of change orders and incident tickets, troubleshooting, server patching, access requests, etc.
• Provide support to development team
• Responsible for software deployments and change management in the SQL Server environments
• Provide SQL Server expertise which can be leveraged by the internal MMC HRIS Team
• Plan, participate in and provide support for performance testing
• Provide support for go-live planning
• Provide support for actual go-live activities
• Provide support for post go-live issues
