Position: AIX Administrator
Location: Houston, TX
Job Description:
· More than 10 years of experience in universe database administration
· Must have strong shell scripting skills
· Must have strong AIX admin skills
· Must have worked extensively on distributed files
· Must have worked on upgrading universe databases
· Excellent familiarity with .uvconfig parameters
· Must be conversant with latest version of universe 11.1.4
· Should be good in troubleshooting group locks
· Should be good in using uvfixtool
· Should be good at adding licenses
· Should be good at registering universe and other components
· Should be good at backup and recovery
· Should be good at debugging and rebuilding indexes
· Should be willing to work off hours and weekends when need be
· Relevant certification must
