Title: Network Load Balancer Engineer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Plano, TX
Provide technical design and deployment capabilities for the Global Network Extranet Services area specializing in Load Balancer based application delivery services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of network routers, switches, and preferrable the F5 load balancer platform suite (LTM/GTM). They must have a strong desire to drive the availability of the F5 load balancer systems and support all types of application delivery services. An ability to work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment across the global enterprise is a must. The candidate will need to support and troubleshoot application and infrastructure problems while dealing with data center class application delivery and business continuity plans for the global enterprise. Additionally, the candidate will provide secondary Network Extranet services working with peers in the support of all Extranet services (Firewall, Network Authentication, and direct Internet access connectivity)
The candidate must have: 5+ years design and deployment experience with Cisco Routers and Switches 3+ years design and deployment experience with F5 LTM, GTM, or Web Accelerators 2+ years experience with supporting and troubleshooting Cisco ASA Firewalls, Routers, & Switches Linux Server and network management tools experience a plus Network related certifications a plus (CCNA, CCNP, F5 BIG-IP Admin) Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work with internal and mixed technology virtual teams
