Position:Sr. Technical Services Manager

Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities
:
· Perform software installations/customizations/configurations for client production instances
· Work closely with Heartbeat client services team (PMs) and customers on a daily basis
· Provide technical expertise during project implementation. E.g. Custom development needs, Data integration etc.
· Participate in client technical calls as a technical expert
· Resolve technical issues by working with customers/PMs and implement process improvements to offer better service delivery
· Work with offshore development teams as required during implementation/support for client software implementations.
· Define and execute software customizations/data interfaces along with offshore development team as required.
· Work with a bug tracking system to update status of tickets and priortize work based on criticality.
· Ensure client (internal and external) SLA commitments are met or exceeded.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED Skills and Experience (must have) (include associated number of years):
· 8+ years' experience with a software background. Focus of work should be with managing/deploying/support of production instances of enterprise software solutions.
· Experience working with an offshore team is desired.
· Proficient in SQL (advanced queries, cursors, stored procedures) and deep understanding of database concepts for MS SQL Server
· Hands on working experience in a support role with Java/JSP and enterprise web applications
· Developed patches/enhancements using Java/JSP for production systems
· Experience in enterprise java application frameworks and java application servers such as Apache Tomcat and webserver such as Apache webserver Microsoft IIS., etc
· Attention to detail and very good application debugging/troubleshooting skills
· Demonstrate a ""can-do"" attitude and ""get your hands dirty"" approach when solving client issues
PREFERRED
Skills and Experience (nice to have) (include associated number of years):
· .NET, SharePoint or Liferay portal experience is a plus
· Crystal reports or any other reporting solution experience is a plus
· Additional language expertise is a plus.
