Role: Sr. SAS Analyst with SQL - Health Care Background

Duration: Long term contract

Location: Sacramento, CA

Client: OPTUM Health

Skype/WebEx hire

Visa: EAD/GC/USC only...

Requirements:
·         8+ years SAS programming in BASE SAS

·         8+ years SAS programming in SAS Enterprise Guide (EG)

If you have fewer SAS years than above, then you must be very strong with SQL

·         Health Care Industry experience
·         SQL experience
·         Oracle or SQL Server Database experience

Experience mentoring or training one-on-one in SAS
·         Must have excellent communication

SAS MACROS, and PROC REPORTS or TABULATE;

PROC SQL;

SAS based ETL processes

 

 

Desired Experience:
·        Teradata
·        MMIS Healthcare industry experience
 
Role:
Serve as the SAS Analyst for health care client.
Will be a tier 2 level support for Help Desk SAS process and queries, including for the following:
·         SAS Reports
·         SAS Process

 

 

SQL  (MUST be Strong in SQL if you are weaker in SAS)

·         Mentoring staff new on SAS
·         Healthcare SAS Queries
·         Assist staff via mail and phone and in-person
