Job Description
Experience with monitoring methodologies, both remote and agent-based
Required experience with Microsoft SCOM 2012
Familiarity with Monitoring System Tool sets such as:
Nagios, NMIS, Dynatrace, NetQos
Familiarity with centralized log collection tools such as LogRhythm or Splunk, etc.
Administration experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows server operating systems.
Familiarity with troubleshooting network, application, and server-related issues.
Experience with scripting languages such as:
Powershell, Perl, VBscript, Python, Shell-based scripting
Knowledge of firewall interaction, domain controllers, and networking equipment
Knowledge of software development principles and methodologies
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent educational and/or work experience
3 to 5 Years of working experience in a monitoring or related IT discipline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Customer-service oriented
Strong organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines
