Role & Responsibilities:-
Automate test scripts using Python
• Enhance and extend the automation library and framework
• Maintain, and execute test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platforms
• Estimate test efforts
• Analyze and communicate test results
• Plan and Execute performance & scalability testing.
• Write specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform
• Involve in design and architectural discussions on Cisco SDN controllers.
Desired Skills:
- Strong Programming skills in Python/Shell/Java
- Object oriented programming and concepts.
- Strong Unix/LINUX skills (Ubuntu/Red Hat/Cent OS).
- Exposure to technologies such as REST, XML.
- Experience with Gerrit, Jenkins
- Experience with Cloud Computing technologies, hypervisor products, and VM life cycle management such as Virtualization, vSphere/vCenter, Hyper-V, and public cloud services (e.g., Amazon AWS).
- Must have strong background in software product development life cycle
- Experience with Cisco technologies and products like UCS, Nexus and network management devices is a big plus.
- Knowledge of Cisco Prime, routing and switching is a big plus.
- Possess excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Must be a team player and work well in small and large group environments.
- Must be highly driven and motivated with high level of initiative.
- Master's degree in computer science or a related area is required.
