·         This position is for a hands-on Senior Database Developer with extensive experience in the PL/SQL, database configuration, support and maintenance for mission-critical enterprise applications.

·         Strong domain experience with UNIX and Financial Industry background

 

Requirements:

·         Experience using the SQL developer tool (min 3 years)

·         Very strong SQL Developers with UNIX exposure

·         Proficiency with PL/SQL and package/stored procedure development (min 5 years)

·         Experience writing and testing/debugging PL/SQL packages and stored procedures (min 5 years)

·         Experience with SQL optimization and tuning - understand cost-based optimizations, how Oracle uses statistics to pick a plan, and the role of analyze and DBMS_STATS to affect the plan chosen.

·         Understand the role of partitioning including the different types allowed, their purpose, and what it is appropriate.

·         Drive development of consistent definitions for common reference data

·         Define and drive new database releases and in-depth analysis of migration impacts
