Location               : Salt Lake City, UT

duration               :12+Months

 

 

Primary Skills: 12+ years experience supporting systems within a live service environment

 

Administration of Unix/Linux

 

Must have good understanding of high availability configuration for unix platforms

Ubuntu Linux, monitoring, troubleshooting

Knowledge of transport layers, webservices

Apache, Tomcat

Packet captures

Write scripts - bash, python to reproduce issues

Extensive troubleshooting experience

 

Job descrption:

Provide technical leadership and mentoring for System Administrators.

Propose and implement system changes to improve stability and efficiencies of service.

Act as a point of escalation for Sys Admins

Troubleshoot chronic issues as they arise.

Provide feedback for product bug fixes, enhancements and needed test cases.

Provide mentoring to other System Administrators.

Develop and document procedures.

Perform on call rotation duties periodically
