organization, which is responsible for building, developing, improving and
sustaining internal tools and IT infrastructure.

and security. We are investing in the development and application of technology
to optimize the operational efficiencies both within our own processes and the
Surface organization as a whole.
We are seeking an
experienced, savvy and versatile Program Manager who has a proven track record
through several product cycles, and can use their best practices to partner
effectively with the program managers. You will be responsible for
turning customer requirements into high value features. You will work with
internal / external partner teams and development teams to align objectives,
create functional specifications, implement a plan, and ultimately deliver a
high-quality product. The successful candidate will have effective written and
oral communication skills, excellent cross-organizational and project
management skills and thrive in a highly innovative, fast paced, evolving and
ambiguous environment.
Qualifications:
o 4-8 years of "Classical" software Program Management experience with demonstrated success.
o 3-4 years as part of a Product Team – responsible for shipping software every month or so.
o 2-3 years experience in web services
o Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
o Knowledge/background in software industry products/services/applications with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's
products/services/applications preferred
o Ability to take excellent notes during meetings and write excellent functional specifications
o Broad technical understanding of mobile PC hardware / system design, Windows architecture
o Ability to learn quickly and work independently while dealing with ambiguous data points and situations, with strong positive attitude
o Strong cross-group collaboration with focus on solving complex problems
o Ability to forsee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plans and mitigate subsequent issues
o Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
