Full Description:

Conducts interviews and participates in planning implementation of systems. Establishes best approach and prepares detailed specifications. Tracks and reports progress of projects to supervisor and hospital departments. Develops test plan scripts and conducts unit testing for system changes/enhancements. Participates in system implementation planning activities. Participates in development of user documentation for application systems. Provides coverage during start-up implementations. Works on creation of standardized procedures and optimal workflow of systems. Functions as liaison between Information Services and user community. Serves as a technical resource to user departments. Performs troubleshooting of existing systems; ensures team issues are resolved timely. Conducts application systems training and maintains scheduling for classes. Develops training materials reflecting system use, policies, and procedures. Prepares weekly status, service request, and call-log reports. Writes and obtains approval for policies, procedures, team and operations documentation. Provides feedback on issues to supervisor on a regular basis.
