Position: Linux Admin with Puppet Experience
Duration: 1 year.
Location: San Francisco, CA
Brief Job details: We are looking for a Linux Sys Admin with very strong Puppet administration skills (server side Puppet, not just client side - knowledge of M Collective a plus)
The Systems Administrator is responsible for advancing the use and adoption of Puppet server automation software, as well as maintenance and implementations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize configuration management framework (Puppet) to deploy and manage systems.
- Support Puppet Infrastructure
- Serve as support for mission-critical internal applications and tools
- Provide training and guidance to internal Puppet users
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Puppet
- Strong Linux systems admin skills
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience supporting a large Puppet deployment (at least 250 servers) Open Source Puppet preferred over Enterprise Puppet
- 3+ years' experience managing Unix/Linux systems
