Job Title: Neteeza DBA
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Rate: DOE
Required Skills:
5 years of experience in positions supporting data warehouse functions
2 of the required years of experience must be in jobs performing Netezza DBA support functions
Proficient knowledge of, and prior experience in, Red Hat Linux cluster configuration, monitoring and scripting
Knowledge of Netezza internals, structures and system tables
Experience successfully performing Netezza database backup/recovery, performance tuning and troubleshooting skills duties
Proficient knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and MPP systems
Willingness and ability to provide on-call production database support after hours, as needed
