Job Description:

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

·         2 years of proven development experience using Visual Basic .NET (3.5 or higher) Microsoft-based technologies

·         2 years of experience using JavaScript

·         2 years of experience in developing large-scale internet applications

·         2 years of experience in unit testing and integration testing experience

·         1 years of experience developing and debugging stored procedures

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with a programming focus or equivalent technical experience

 

Other Qualifications:

 

·         Experience in Agile environments.

·         Experience on high-availability, high traffic, consumer-facing web sites that have a strong focus on SEO results.

·         Familiar with physical-layer hardware interfaces, higher-level OS architecture, communications technology and application development in a secure enterprise environment

·         Solid oral, written and interpersonal communications

·         Work well individually and also in team setting

·         Ability to move easily between multiple projects at any given time

·         Demonstrate architecture/object-oriented design and development experience in a .NET framework

·         Understand role of web servers and related software as they pertain to limitations placed on development and implementation of applications

·         Demonstrate proficiency in concepts and technologies like event-driven programming, object-oriented methodology, XML based Web Services, HTTP Communications and ASP.NET

·         Strong unit test and integration test experience; system test skills a plus

·         Experience in an Agile development shop

 

In addition, working knowledge of the following is desired:

 

·         VB .NET 4.0 & 4.5

·         MVC

·         XML, XSLT

·         C#

·         HTML5

·         CSS

·         jQuery/AJAX
