Location: Fremont, California

Duration: TWO (2) Years Contract

 

Interview Type: Telephone Interview & Face-2-Face MUST

Skillset: FC, SAS, PCIe, SFP, DC/DC, HBA designs

Deployment Role: Electrical Hardware Design Engineer

 

Knowledge/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 7+ years of digital system design experience.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Design and Specify the HP customized FC and SAS HBAs.
2. Work closed with PMs and ODM during the HBA design cycles. 
3. Work closely with architecture, mechanical, SI and layout in the spec stage.
4. Perform the system level electrical design validation.
5. Support failure analyses on the HBAs.

 

Required Skills:

• Directly applicable work experience on FC/SAS HBA designs
• Basic knowledge of the digital system areas such as FC, SAS, PCIe, SFP, DC/DC, etc.
• Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to combine theory with empirical observation
• Ability to interact effectively with vendors and colleagues
• Self-motivated, persistent, hands-on, and results-oriented
• Strong written and oral communication

·         Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
