Essential Requirements of the Position:

 

ü  This position of IT Business Systems Analyst ensures that Order Management and Service Renewal business systems requirements for M&A (merger and acquisition) companies are fully supported with the appropriate systems, tools, and processes.

ü  It accomplishes this via rigorous process and data analysis, creation of business and functional requirements, effective project management in tandem with business and IT partners and successful implementation strategy and delivery.

ü  It is also responsible to ensure process and system integration across the breadth of Order Management and Service Renewal functional activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

ü  Drive key initiatives/projects to completion and ensure deliverables meet business needs.

ü  Gather and track business and functional requirements, define project scope, write detailed functional specifications, provide impact assessments, identify gaps, evaluate change requests, capture and prioritize bugs.

ü  Conduct effective project meetings; publish minutes, and track issues and actions to resolution.

ü  Participate in end to end implementation planning to include project management, issue management, communication and change management

ü  Writing and reviewing QA and UAT test scripts. Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff

ü  Work closely with development team through software development methodology, including project assessment, planning, design, build, QA and implementation.

ü  Provide on-going feedback and status of projects to IT and business areas, identifying any variances to plan and proposing solutions and alternatives for the variances

 

COMPENTENCIES

 

ü  Minimum of 5 years of recent IT Business Analyst experience

ü  Must have experience with requirements gathering, documentation (business requirement, functional specification, as-is process, to-be process, gap analysis, user / training documentation etc.), hands-on detailed systems, data modeling, development, conducting end user training and implementation.

ü  Must have experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application – Order Management, Service Contract, Install Base

ü  Must have an in-depth understanding of business requirements and the underlying business processes

ü  Exceptional communication skills, able to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users

ü  Attention to detail, strong listening skills, and good verbal and written communications are required

ü  Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within established time lines.

ü  Demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new and changing technologies, applications and solutions.
