Location: Fremont, California

Duration: SIX (6) Months Contract

 

Interview Type: Telephone Interview & Face-2-Face MUST

Skillset: Computer Architecture, PCIe, DDR2/3, Interrupt, Error Handling, Storage platforms, RAID, Bourne Shell, Expect, Perl

Deployment Role: Hardware System QA

 

Knowledge/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of Hardware System testing/QA experience.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Using software/hardware quality assurance tools and processes. 
• Software/hardware testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience with design for x86 hardware and firmware running on multiple platform types
• Knowledgeable on Computer Architecture, PCIe, DDR2/3, Interrupt, Error Handling, etc.
• Knowledgeable on Storage platforms, RAID, etc
• Experience with scripting language such as Bourne Shell, Expect, Perl, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.
