Experience : 5+ years
Qualifications : Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or related field preferred)
Contract : 6 months

Tasks for the Information Architect:
· Provides oversight of metadata within SharePoint.
· Leads efforts for gathering and mapping requirements to ensure business needs are met within SharePoint.
· Establishes standards around taxonomy, content categorization, search, metadata, usability, navigation, and user experience.
· Designs and implements the taxonomy within SharePoint.
· Works with Site Collection Administrators to ensure SharePoint standards are adhered to.
· Provides guidance on new system design for Intranet, LOB workgroups, and other appropriate parties.
· Uses best practices in user design initiatives.
· Recommends SharePoint content placement for appropriate workgroups.
· Serves as the main contact for usability and findability inquiries.
· Understands and supports SharePoint governance rules and able to communicate them.
· Evaluates tools prior to being approved for use in conjunction with SharePoint.
Skills Required :
· Excellent knowledge of SharePoint functionality and best practices.
· Excellent communication and documentation skills.
· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple requests.
