Role:                Data Architect

Location:          New York City, NY

Duration:          FULL TIME

Salary:             $k + Benefits

 

Project description:

The Project deals with providing a comprehensive tool, an automated solution to the data organization which helps them with various phases of data collection activity.

A workflow based solution which allows capturing any kinds of documents from any kind of sources for multiple regions with capability to automatically recognize, tag, reconcile and store documents.

The tool should be able to handle manual interventions and serve audits, reports, and historical lookups.

 

Purpose:  

To provide solutions of business operations to meet Data Management Tool project requirements.

 

Job description:

1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Excellent knowledge in designing enterprise data architectures.

·         Data Warehouse Design required – ability to develop and manage a transformational vision of end-to-end data architecture, and phased transition from legacy to future state, that will move from current state (a blended amalgamation of transactional, operational, reporting, and ad-hoc data structures) to an organized, robust, modern data architecture that delivers complex, modern capabilities.

·         Demonstrated success leading organizations through data architecture modernization.

·         Experience in hybrid environments with blend of legacy and modern technologies.

·         Experience with data modeling.

·         Excellent knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.

·         Research and recommends best suited approach for the purpose.

·         Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.

 

2.  PREFERRED SKILLS: 

·         Knowledge of Exadata is a plus.

·         Knowledge of parallel implementation is a plus.

·         Understanding of financial products.

·         Understanding of any workflow based solution is a plus.

·         Understanding of any document reading technologies is a plus.

 

3. QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Must have at least 7-10 years of experience in financial industry.

·         Experience with Workflow based solutions is a plus.
