Client is actively seeking a motivated, talented UI/UX designer to create innovative solutions for its award winning electronic trading platform. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of front-end technologies, user experience, and visual design. Client offers a fast-pace and exciting environment where technologists enjoy working on challenging and mission critical projects globally.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for every aspect of the system's user experience - the overall flow and layout of the screens, the fields and information presented, the actions and interactions that are provided, and the visualizations of the data. You'll be involved in solving workflow problems, developing new ways of presenting market data, and figuring out what tools the client needs in their solution
Key Requirements Include:
• Strong Information Architecture experience including ability to define and drive the process

• At least 7 years of experience with desktop and Internet solutions

• Assists in the evaluation, design, implementation, maintenance, support, and enhancement of sophisticated
database systems and technologies
• Collaborates with all members of IT to ensure successful application and database implementations
• Solves production problems in a timely manner, including off hours and weekend support when necessary
• Troubleshoots database and application errors
• Logs bugs with vendor support services
• Assists vendor support services as well as IT team members to quickly resolve problems
• Installs, configures, and integrates third party applications and tools as needed
Desired Skills and Experience
• Proven experience with Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g
• Proven experience with Oracle in a Linux environment
