FileNet Consultant Level 4

CLIENT uses Filenet for all enterprise document management needs. There is an urgent need to upgrade the existing implementation of Filenet to VP8 or higher in order to prepare the system for cataloging and scanning documents of several departments.   The resource obtained through this procurement will be consulting with program managers and staff to evaluate application performance, review business workflow, identifies opportunities to increase efficiencies and implement the identified changes along with CLIENT and Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) staff.  The resource will also work with program managers at CLIENT with electronic document management system needs beyond current indexing to expand the use of Filenet implementation..

The candidate will coordinate with program developers, project manager and SME who have operational responsibility for these systems and the other agency IT staff as needed.

The candidate shall be responsible for:

•             Planning, managing and executing the system upgrade.

•             Perform environment validation.

•             Perform Data migration and validation.

•             Generate detailed status reports for management review.

 

Skills

·         4 Years of FileNet indexing design and data maintenance experience

·         6 Years of Strong understanding of Oracle and on experience

·         2 Years of Application Development- Java 6 experience

·         4 Years of Developing electronic document management requirement experience

·         4 Years of FileNet capture customization experience

·         5 Years of Strong knowledge of SDLC Process

·         6 Years of Experience with pplication design and Development based on Business requirements

·         2 Years of Technical experience with scanning devices (Fujitu and OPEX)

·         2 Years of FileNet P8 process engine expertise
